Chairman Lin Yongqing offered a vivid analogy: Mainstream flue gas treatment technologies today adopt a structure similar to a series circuit, with one stage following another. Flue gas passes sequentially through dust removal, desulfurization, denitrification, cooling, and other processes before finally being discharged in compliance with standards. In such a long and complex process, a problem at any single stage may force the entire system to shut down or result in excessive emissions, exposing enterprises to the risk of production suspension. By contrast, thanks to its excellent multi-pollutant synergistic treatment capability, the use of FLKCAT aluminosilicate fiber catalytic filter tubes makes it possible to adopt a “parallel” configuration, in which the flue gas is divided into multiple streams. This avoids the “one failure brings the whole system down” scenario. In addition, FLKCAT aluminosilicate fiber catalytic filter tubes feature strong high-temperature resistance. They can operate continuously at 750°C and withstand instantaneous temperatures up to 900°C, allowing the flue gas cooling process to be simplified, cooling water consumption to be reduced, and waste heat from flue gas to be more effectively recovered—achieving pollution reduction and carbon reduction at the same time.

The aluminosilicate fiber filter tube system developed by FLKCAT not only enhances seismic resistance, but also extends the length of the filter tubes from the original 3 meters to 5 meters. As the length of an individual filter tube increases, the available filtration surface area expands accordingly, which in turn significantly boosts the exhaust gas handling capacity. Based on proportional calculations, using FLKCAT’s 5-meter aluminosilicate fiber filter tubes can increase the treatable airflow by approximately 67% within the same footprint. Under conditions of a fixed exhaust gas volume, adopting 5-meter-long aluminosilicate fiber filter tubes can effectively reduce the equipment footprint, substantially decreasing the land area required for installing the filter tube system within the plant site.

New Factory Construction

On the morning of April 2, 2024, at 9:00 AM, a groundbreaking ceremony for the new factory was held at Hefa Industrial Park, Heyi 5th Road, Daliao District, Kaohsiung City, marking a new milestone in the company’s future development. Chairman Lin Yongqing personally led the board members and distinguished guests, including Mr. Huang Peilun, Chairman of Kunlun Construction; Architect Zhang Weiming; Mr. Xiao Yongda, Director of Hefa Industrial Park; and Deputy Director Xiao Yuying, to attend this grand event.
